RECOVER & RE|EQUIP

RECOVER & RE|EQUIP for LIFE BEYOND HURTS, HABITS, & HANGuPS

Recover & ReEquip groups allow us to see that we are not alone, that our story matters, and that there is new life beyond our past hurts, habits, and hang-ups. There is hope and there will be healing.

Below you will find information on the different Recover & Re|Equip groups offered at New Beginnings Church:

PATHWAY TO PEACE

Pathway to Peace recovery ministry can help you take the first step in stopping the devastating and seemingly hopeless bondage that addictions may have in your life. We focus on building a foundation on Christ, maturing and strengthening our walk by seeing what God has to say in scripture about addiction, and the twelve steps of recovery.

Meetings are ongoing on Sundays at 4PM and Thursdays at 6:30PM

RECOVERY CHURCH

Recovery Church is a fellowship of people who desire to maintain their recovery while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe in the redemptive power of Christ’s love and desire to walk alongside one another in our healing process.  Recovery Church is a transparent, Christ-centered, non-judgmental body that offers support and encouragement.

All are welcome.  Meeting dates & times COMING SOON!

GRIEF SHARE

GriefShare helps group members apply biblical principles to the healing process after the death of a loved one. Throughout the videos and workbook, participants see how the gospel brings hope and restoration.

  • Grief Share: GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
  • Loss of a Spouse: Loss of a Spouse is a stand-alone, two-hour seminar. After losing a spouse, the temptation to isolate in your grief is understandable; it’s often easier to hide away rather than force a public smile. However, reaching out to supportive, uplifting people is essential for grieving in a healthy way and finding relief.
  • Surviving the Holidays: GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays is a 2-hour, video-based event hosted during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. This kit includes everything you need to run a 2-hour Surviving the Holidays event for people grieving a loved one’s death.
